I finally got to see a real General Store. I had plans to go in and set up a slate but god damn it they were out of business. Paying attention to the name, anyone think that the owners were Irish?!
This is an odd little picture. Ian passes this on his way to work so while zipping by I managed to catch this shot. People are tying shoe wear to the tree without much of an explanation. Odd, yet interesting.

In my part of the woods, slinging a pair of shoes over a telephone wire indicates that there is a drug dealer in the area.
Get Ian to take you to Cherrywood. Taunton Rd. west to Altona Rd. Turn left on to Altona and go south to the third concession and turn left. This will take you into the Village of Cherrywood. he Morrish General store has been in operation since the turn of the last century. The white building on the opposite corner is where I went to school in 1952.
Hey Jenny! Yeah, I know about the shoes over the telephone wire, but these ones apparently aren't related to drugs. I am on the investigative path!
